In 2015, the flash flood not only hit the Chennai residence, it also flash in the residents mind for the self reliance. It motivates our resident members to form a role model residents association. Members put together and act together for the welfare of our Nagar is the main goal, as everyone knows togetherness gives unbeatable strength, use of it and make out of it is our leverage.

This website www.srilakshminagar.com is developed under the colossal effort of the residents of the Sri Lakshmi Nagar, situated in the Valasaravakkam area, Chennai ,Tamilnadu -600 087 to bring unity & closeness among the people living in this band.

Sri Lakshmi Nagar is a rapid growing area in Valasaravakkam with nearly 250 houses at present. Eventhough this area is not fully developed under planned township & the whole area is brought under one roof Sri Lakshmi Nagar to develop the infrastructure & needs which is made possible only by the Unity among the people residing in these areas. The biggest force which is driving the Sri Lakshmi Nagar towards one the fast developing area is the unshakeable Co-operation among the people in this area.

Sri Lakshmi Nagar has started its renovation activities from the earlier days itself by active participation & involvement of each & every residents with the attitude of 'Work together, Rise Together'.

With personnel interests, Sri Lakshmi Nagar Association has plan to do many welfare activities which includes 'Dealing with Government bodies for developing infrastructures, Appreciations for government officials tendering social services, Republic Day Celebrations, Independence day celebrations, New Year celebrations, Get Togethers, Night Safety patrons etc..
